The 10th anniversary event - Friday to Sunday, July 20 to 22 - is one of the largest inner-city music festivals in the country, with a brand new 40,000 capacity home at Hillsborough Park.

This year it boasts 80 acts on four stages, mixing emerging talent with internationally celebrated stars from the worlds of indie, rock and roll, garage, rap, pop and hip hop.

Oasis legend Noel Gallagher, rock superstars Stereophonics and R&B comeback king Craig David top the bill.

But the star-studded line-up also includes Symphony hitmakers Clean Bandit, Manchester indie chart-toppers Blossoms and Lightning Bolt retro-soul hitmaker Jake Bugg, plus hip-hop stars De La Soul, Britain's Got Talent winner Tokio Myers and new chart sensation Tom Grennan.

Also on the bill are South Yorkshire's Radio 1 guitar stars The Sherlocks, Sheffield indie rockers Reverend and the Makers and Milburn, psychedelic neo-soul funk outfit Universal Tree with Steve Edward, the city's hugely popular fun band Everly Pregnant Brothers and hotly tipped new talent including Redfaces, Oddity Road, Sophie and the Giants, Sheafs and Bang Bang Romeo.

There is comedy this year with stand-up routines from the likes of city's own John Shuttleworth and TV funnyman Henning Wehn.

Aside from the Tramlines Main Stage, T'Other Stage, The Leadmill Live/Comedy Stage and The Library Stage, there is also an Into The Trees area - with a Village Screen pop up cinema, Circus Skills workshops, DJ music sessions and more. Plus, around the park, music fans will find all the usual festival attractions, stands, food and drink stalls. There is even some camping provision this year.

Music fans are guaranteed to Have A Nice Day - rock superstars Stereophonics get the 10th anniversary party started, headlining the main stage, promising greatest hits also including chart-topper Dakota and Handbags and Gladrags, plus tunes from their latest album, Scream Above the Sounds.

Sheffield's indie stars Milburn support with what is rumoured my be their last live set - certainly for a while - and new chart stars Everything Everything are also on the main stage.Mystery Jets headline The Leadmill Live Stage with support acts including NME favourites The Magic Gang, Sheffield bands High Hazels and Oddity Road, while Hot Ashes top The Library Stage.Into The Trees features a Club Tropicana, 80s pop, disco and anthems night.

Saturday's amazing line-up is headlined by ex-Oasis superstar Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - with an incredible hits catalogue of smart songwriting and huge hooks, including three chart-topping solo albums and latest offering, Who Built The Moon.

Fans will be hoping for a live version of forthcoming single, If Love Is The Law and his live set is usually packed with Oasis classic sing-longs including Little By Little, Half The World Away, Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger - definitely maybe not to missed, promising to be THE festival highlight.

But festival-goers will have to choose between Noel and electronic hitmakers Clean Bandit - they top the T'Other Stage at the same time (8.30pm) and will be performing infectious hits such as Symphony, Rockabye and Solo. They were also behind Jess Glynne number one, Hold My Hand.

Main stage support comes from Manchester rockers Blossoms, mixing indie, synth pop, alt and psychedelic rock, after Sheffield's own Reverend and the Makers are guaranteed to get the crowd bouncing following a set by hugely popular city comedy band Everly Pregnant Brothers and hotly tipped local bands Redfaces and Bang Bang Romeo.

TV funnyman and self-appointed German comedy ambassador Henning Wehn tops The Leadmill Comedy stage in the afternoon.

R&B rap comedback king Craig David presents TS5 with what promises to be a chilled out vibe to close the main stage - hits including 7 Days, Walking Away, Rise and Fall, Don't Love You No More and Hot Stuff, who also had a more recent top five hit with I Know You, featuring Bastille,The 37-year-old rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer, who stormed back to the top of the charts with his 2016 album, Following My Intuition, his first chart-topper since 2000 debut, Born to Do It, was back at number two with The Time Is Now earlier this year and last wowed 15,000 revellers in the area at Medowhall's sold out Christmas Live pop concert.

Another festival highlight will be a Sunday main stage homecoming performance by the region's Radio 1 indie chart stars The Sherlocks - fresh from a tour of the USA, Japan and supporting Liam Gallagher. They last thrilled a packed Sheffield Arena, supporting Kings Of Leon. Don't miss this band who are well on their way to the top.

Flower-power hip-hop legends, De La Soul, still one of the most influential groups in the scene more than 20 years after first emerging, are also on the main stage. So is Britain's Got Talent 2017 winning pianist Tokio Myers and quirky-pop soloist Naaz. Opening the main stage on the final day - another act not to be missed - is Sheffield's Universal Tree, featuring super talented Steve Edwards, delivering psychedelic neo-soul with funk, beats and conscious lyrics.

Kick starting the day with 90s nostalgia workout fun will be the one-and-only1990s GMTV Lycra clad Mr Motivator - with the party starting Rhythm of The 90s.

Reverend and the Makers star Jon McClure is back to curate The Leadmill Live Stage, headlined by new chart sensation Tom Grennan, with support from hotly tipped bands including Sheffield's own Sophie and the Giants and Sheafs.

T'Other Stage headliner is Lightning Bolt retro-soul hitmaker Jake Bugg, following indie stars Shed Seven and rising local girl band The Seamonsters.

And do not miss the festival's comedy highlight, topping a great stand-up bill on the The Leadmill Comedy stage on Sunday, Sheffield's own iconic musical funnyman John Shuttleworth, AKA Graham Fellows.
