Police in new opening times

OPENING times at two Sheffield police stations have changed.

The enquiry desk at Ecclesfield Police Station will now be open from 8am until 8pm Monday to Saturday and from 11am until 7pm on Sundays.

Hammerton Road station's enquiry desk will be open from 10am to 6pm Tuesday to Saturday.

South Yorkshire Police say the changes have been introduced to allow more police officers out on patrol.

Both stations will open from 10am until 6pm on Bank Holidays excluding Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
