Pitch dug-out hit by blaze
A FOOTBALL dug-out went up in flames yesterday and will need a new roof as a result.
Firefighters were called to the dug out, belonging to Handsworth Juniors football club, on Oliver’s Mount sports ground at around 4.45pm.
The shelter is built of stone but had a wooden roof.
