Philipa wins top industry exam award

Philipa Robertson, who specialises in placing scientists within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, was the top student in the Recruitment and Employment Confederation's Diploma in Recruitment Practice examination.

Philippa who works for CK Science, a specialist scientific and engineering recruitment consultancy, came top in the exams which were sat by 208 students across the UK.

Having taken a degree in biomedical science at Sheffield University, Philippa worked in a sales and marketing role before becoming a recruitment consultant 18 months ago.

"I was thrilled to hear I had become the top Diploma student and I was so pleased that my hard work studying and support from my colleagues had paid off," she said.

CK Science also rewarded her with a free holiday.
