Peter's walk of hope in memory of late wife Sarah

TEACHER Peter Scott netted an incredible £10,000 for charity after completing an epic walk in memory of his late wife.

Peter, aged 45, from Nether Edge, walked the length of Britain to raise money after he lost Sarah, 49, to a brain tumour.

The Dobcroft Infants School teacher tackled a 1,300 mile trek which saw him combine a walk from Land's End in England to John O'Groats in Scotland, with the famous coast to coast route from St Bees Head in Cumbria to Robin Hood's Bay on the east coast.
