'Penguin' sets out on trek

AN INTREPID 'penguin' from Dronfield Woodhouse has set off on a six-day biking and walking trek from London to Paris.

Mike Wooliscroft, aged 29, is part of the group called The Lost Penguins who regularly take part in charity sporting events dressed as penguins.

The trek is in training for the Polar Challenge, a race to the magnetic north pole next April.

Mike will be cycling to Paris in 24 hours for WaterAid then walking back to London via the North Downs Way in just six days.
