Pc knocked off his bike
A POLICE motorcyclist parked in the middle of a road to stop traffic was knocked off his bike after a collision with a taxi.
The Pc stopped on the slip road from the Mosborough Parkway, to Sheffield Parkway, to stop traffic as the Cardiff team coach drove into Sheffield for last night's match against the Blades.
A taxi, driven by a 64-year-old Handsworth man, clipped the back of the bike.
The was treated for shoulder injury and whiplash. Witnesses to the 7pm collision are asked to call 0114 220 2970.
