this time last year they were wannabe pop stars dreaming of a music career...and last night they were living the dream singing in front of thousands of fans in Sheffield.

Aspiring pop stars who rose to fame in the last series of the X Factor performed in front of a packed Motorpoint Arena, with fans raising the roof when their favourites took to the stage.

Finalists who made it into the last few rounds of the TV talent show were given a rousing reception every time they took to the mic for their individual sets.

Overall winners Little Mix performed their winning single Cannonball, but runner-up Marcus Collins proved just as popular with his high-tempo rendition of Moves Like Jagger - showcasing his dance moves just as much as his voice and cementing him as an all round performer.

Amelia Lily - the teenager with the huge voice - impressed with her cover of Christina Aguilera’s Ain’t No Other Man and Mischa B proved a class above with her own unique version of Adele’s Rolling in the Deep, mixing her perfectly pitched vocal with rap. Her version of Proud Mary also got the Arena rocking

Giving the X Factor tour its traditional wow factor, Kitty Brucknell made her entrance onto the stage on a giant Catherine wheel, before powering her way through Sweet Dreams and Edge of Glory.

Slowing down the tempo, former biscuit factory worker Craig Colton gave a moving performance of Set Fire to the Rain.
