A SHEFFIELD woman found the body of her depressed mum on Easter Sunday after becoming concerned when she didn't answer the phone.
Anna Dutoy, of Linden Avenue, Woodseats, found her mum, Sandra Cousins, at her Rotherham home with a plastic bag over her head.
Mrs Dutoy told a Rotherham inquest her mum, aged 60, a shop assistant, had been suffering from depression and anxiety and was on medication.
She said she had gone with her husband Etienne to her mum’s home in Firtree Avenue, Wales, last Sunday after her mum had failed to answer the phone. She discovered her body.
The Coroner adjourned the inquest for further inquiries to be carried out.
