AFTER Dark, Yorkshire’s biggest firework display, has got the X Factor - with live finalist Jade Ellis set to launch the fireworks at Sheffield’s Don Valley Bowl.
And we are giving you the chance to help her light up the sky.
That’s the amazing prize today for one lucky Star reader who will get to help Jade press the plunger on the Real Radio stage.
Joining them will be the station’s breakfast show presenters Dixie and Gayle.
Our winner and a guest will also get the chance to go backstage to meet the X Factor star before she performs to an expected crowd of 19,000 people.
We also have four pairs of runner- up tickets to be won.
After Dark, now in its 16th year, will take place on Monday, November 5, from 5.30pm to 10pm.
It will feature a giant bonfire, lit at 7pm, and a spectacular fireworks display set to music - which gets under way at 9pm.
There will also be funfair rides, food stalls and a bar at ice Sheffield overlooking the event.
After Dark, backed by The Star, Real Radio, Sheffield Council, Supertram and Sheffield International Venues, is organised by Yellow Bus Events.
Organiser Scott Barton said: “It’s a great evening out for the whole family and we are pleased to announce that X Factor finalist Jade Ellis will be performing on the Real Radio stage on the night.
“After Dark is the region’s biggest and best firework display and attracts visitors from all across Yorkshire.
“The event is now in its 16th year and it just keeps growing in popularity.”
Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for children aged under 14 and are available on 0114 2565656. They can also be bought from the Sheffield Motorpoint Arena, Ice Sheffield reception or on the night. For more information visit www.yellowbusevents.com
