Doncaster was transformed into a cultural carnival as a popular arts festival took over the town for a weekend packed full of fun.
There were over 50 attractions at 30 venues around the town and crowds flocked in their thousands to witness a diverse range of music, poetry, theatre and dance at the second DNweekeND event.
One of those acts was the weird and wacky troop, ‘Beyond a Joke’, which performed for the eager crowds.
Performer Bob, also known as the ‘The Great Baboo’ said he was already looking forward to next year’s show.
He said: “It’s been fantastic, we’ve had two really full days non-stop with plenty of action and excitement.
“We’ve done dangerous tricks, illusions, fire shows and the crowds outside Frenchgate have topped 300 - they’ve loved it and so have we.
Bob added he was sure the festival would be around for years to come.
“This is our second event and people have been coming up to us and saying ‘we need more of this in Doncaster’. We want people to come not just to shop but to stay all day.”
He added: “We’re tired but buzzing, well done to the organisers.”
