A GROUP of cyclists from a Sheffield school will be going the distance in a coast-to-coast challenge raising money for Help for Heroes.

The group from Park Academy will set off from Morecambe on June 2 to ride 179 miles across country to Bridlington. Co-ordinator and organiser Steve Rastall will be joined by Steve Warrillow, Gary Machin, Craig Malkin, Andrew Mathews, Chris Motley, Steve Cullen, Gordon Makenzie and Cameron Barr for the adventure, with Ian Clamp going along as their support driver.

Steve Rastall, a lecturer at the academy and former Territorial Army member, said: "The work our troops do is second to none and I feel that as individuals we can help those that have been wounded and support the families of serving men and women who have been lost, as well as those who come back."
