THE weather might be unpredictable – but the sun is always shining on summer in The Star.
We asked readers to send in their best sunshine snaps - and here are just a few of the super selection which landed in our email, on our Facebook page and via The Star’s Twitter account.
From golden images of grandchildren which warmed the heart, to holiday photos at home and abroad, your sparkling shots reflect the way you’re spending summer.
Images could be snapped anywhere – in the garden, the streets of the city centre, on a day trip out, or on summer holidays to sunnier climes.
Lee Parkin sent in a picture of his daughter Daisy enjoying the sun in Graves Park, Sheffield, while Joanne Booker snapped seven-year-old Macey and Ivy Jess, aged three, from Handsworth, having fun in Filey.
Further afield, Terry Tiller, from Kelham Island, Sheffield, sent in a beautiful of the Las Vegas skyline at night, while Graham Senter sent in a picture of his grandson with his cousins on the beach in Normandy, France.
There is still time to send us your pictures, which we’ll endeavour to publish in The Star and on our website:
n Email them to firstname.lastname@example.org with Summer Snaps in the subject field
