An open day is to be held at a Sheffield sports centre in a bid to encourage more children to lead more active lives.
The event at Concord Sports Centre, Shiregreen, is holding the open day on Sunday, October 18.
Free sports sessions including football, athletics, gymnastics and judo will be on offer.
There will also be a bouncy castle, face painting and table games on offer during the open day which will run from 10.30am - 1.30pm.
Steve Culf, general manager of Concord Sports Centre, said: “This open day is a great opportunity for kids to get involved in sport, and all for free.
“It’s also a fantastic way of encouraging continued participation in sport and physical exercise.
