SHEFFIELD’S leading amateur theatre company is bringing The Sound of Music to the Lyceum - its first production on a city stage in 10 years.

Shows by Croft House Theatre Company run from Tuesday, March 13, to Saturday March 17, and some performances are already sold out.

Chair Joan Bennett said; “We have been overwhelmed by the phenomenal demand for tickets.

“We are absolutely delighted that audiences of Sheffield want to engage with and support our work and we are looking forward to performing in the Lyceum once again.”

She said the show was ‘rarely theatrically performed in Sheffield’ so it was a unique chance for people to enjoy it.
