WANNABE singers can learn to sing on their lunch in Sheffield.
Sing for a Change has joined forces with Sheffield’s City Hall to host the workshop on Thursday from 1pm.
The sessions are available to all, from amateurs to regular singers, and aimed at adding some positive energy to people’s working day and with added health benefits.
Professor Graham Welch, of London University’s Institute of Education, said: “The health benefits of singing are physical and psychological.
“Singing has physical benefits, because it is an aerobic activity and has psychological benefits because of its positive effect in reducing stress.”
The sessions have been organised the hall’s 80th birthday celebrations and are planned to continue into the new year.
