Locally made, green and upcycled gifts were top of shoppers’ lists at Sheffield Antiques Quarter’s Christmas vintage market.
The popular event, held inside and out Abbeydale Picture House on Abbeydale Road, attracted more than 3,000 visitors, all keen to bag unusual festive gifts.
Traders on the 70 plus stalls sold items ranging from vintage and retro goods to arts, crafts and antiques and a variety of fashions.
Shoppers also enjoyed seasonal refreshments from a pop-up bar and cafe, plus live music from local artists.
Event organiser Hendrika Stephens, said: “The footfall both within the vintage market and at Antiques Quarter businesses was brilliant.
“The Nether Edge Christmas Market was also on which meant shoppers could enjoy both.
“This year we used the whole of the auditorium which is a stunning area and has such a great vibe.
“Visitors were able to pick up individual gifts, different to what’s on the high street. For the past two years I’ve bought all my Christmas gifts from the Antiques Quarter.”
