Stagecoach Supertram has donated dozens of books to Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

The firm donated 30 editions of ‘A Very Special Family Party’ - a book which brings Stagecoach buses and trams to life with characters including Stanley Supertram and Bobby Bus.

Alongside the donation to the hospital, profits from the sale of the books will go towards the National Literacy Trust, which works to improve literacy in the UK’s most disadvantaged areas.

Claire Ansley, head of customer service at Supertram, said: “The Children’s Hospital Charity is very close to our hearts and we’re delighted to be able to donate these books which we hope many children will enjoy. The charity and hospital do a fantastic job treating children.”
