Scots do battle in table tennis test

Have your say

MEMBERS of the Caledonian Society of Sheffield will do battle in a table tennis tournament at the English Institute of Sport in Attercliffe in October.

Members of the Scottish ancestry organisation will descend on the centre on Coleridge Road on October 22 for a knockout tournament.

Members will first have a guided tour of the facilities before taking each other on to win the Tennis Cup.

Afterwards members can tuck into a finger buffet to celebrate the victorious player’s achievement.

The Caledonian Society was set up in Sheffield in 1822.
