Vehicles past and present took centre stage at a car show and family fun day staged by Vulcan Rotary Club in the shadow of the Sheffield University Arts Tower.
The event was a fundraiser for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Friends of Millhouses Park and the End Polio Now campaign.
Six dealers took part exhibiting 12 current models – though the golden oldies attracted plenty of attention too.
Other entertainment came from the Green Top Circus and a driving simulator brought along by South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue’s prevention team.
A Rotary spokesman said: “There’s no national car show this year, so we thought that Sheffield should have one.”
