Have your say

More than 80 real ales, lagers, fruit beers, ciders and a dash of Sheffield’s own Henderson’s Relish...

The Sheffield University Students’ Union beer and cider festival is back.

Running from Friday to Sunday, May 1 to 3, with free entry on all days, the festival, organised in association with the university’s real ale society, will also feature a German -themed bar complete with steins of Pilsner – on Friday only – and a pop up gin bar featuring a selection of UK gins

On Saturday, there will be a Sheffield theme, complete with pies and the city’s favourite condiment – Henderson’s Relish.

And on Sunday it is pig and cider Day, with a free-range hog roast served by leading city butchers Roney’s of Sheffield.

Sunday’s event will also form part of the popular Contours Festival 2015.

In addition, there will also be live folk and acoustic performances throughout the festival performed by some of the area’s up-and-coming musical talent.

All events are held in the bars and grounds of the students’ union building on Western Bank. All are open to the public and are free of charge throughout.
