A SHEFFIELD pub has been praised for its customer service at a ‘Night of Excellence’ company awards ceremony.

The Porter Brook on Ecclesall Road received consistently high ‘mystery guest’ scores when inspected by its owners Greene King. Staff achieved an average of 98.9 per cent positive ratings - making the Porter Brook the highest scoring pub for customer service within the group.

Manager Russell Peckett said: “We work very hard each day to keep our customers happy.”
