A one-man theatre piece about the miners’ strike is coming to Barnsley.

The show sees the battle of Orgreave through the eyes of a South Yorkshire policeman and is based on research from archives and interviews.

The piece will be performed by actor Ray Castleton.

The free show is part of a programme of events to mark the 30th anniversary of the strike.

The Blue Pawn will be at Experience Barnsley at 2pm on Saturday, August 2.
