FOODIES in Sheffield ate their way through a six-course taster menu of local produce at the launch event of a new project.
The sold-out night at Fusion Organic Cafe, off Arundel Street, in the city centre saw people much their way through a ‘day in the life of a Sheffield appetite’.
From a breakfast taster of bacon and sausages, to coffee and ice cream for dessert, all the food sampled was from local producers and businesses who also shared food secrets and advice.
The night of nibbles was the first event organised by Appetite Sheffield, which has been set up by city bloggers Ros Arksey and Clare Tollick to celebrate Sheffield food.
The next event is planned for June.
