A MAN about to take a shower finished up calling the fire brigade instead.

The man switched on the shower at his home in Greenfield Gardens, Cantley, Doncaster, on Wednesday evening - but before he got in, it caught fire.

The fire was out before Doncaster crews arrived and there was minimal damage and no injuries.
