A free event for epilepsy carers

ADVICE for carers who look after people with epilepsy is available at an information day in Sheffield on April 13.

The free event, at the Quaker Meeting House in the city centre, will include talks by specialists including nurse Kate Miles from the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, and Trevor Polson from St John Ambulance.

Talks run from 10am to 1pm, with light refreshments provided. Call 01274 640 064 for more information.

Tell me a story...

WRITERS, poets and singers are invited to gather for a night of storytelling. Scribble is open to anyone who wants to read aloud or sit and listen at the Harland Cafe, John Street, Sheffield, on April 18 from 7pm to 9pm.

Taking a stand

A LAW firm is to sponsor a stand at Chesterfield FC next season. A deal has been agreed with Chesterfield-based Spencers Solicitors to sponsor the Community East Stand at the Proact Stadium.
