Sheffield Amateur Radio Club members will launch their new communications trailer at Heeley Festival tomorrow.

The club has been gifted the trailer, worth £30,000, by the Radio Society of Great Britain and is offering the public a chance to learn more about the hobby.

Heeley Festival starts at Millennium Park at noon. Big Al’s Main Stage of music and dance, parrots and hawks, bikes and climbing, African drumming, children’s rides, woodland crafts and dozens of stalls will be among the entertainment. Anns Grove School will host a car boot sale fundraiser.

Entry is free.
