Sheffield’s dirty blues duo, Wet Nuns, have announced the release of their debut record this October.
The release follows two years of intense touring, which has included slots Reading and Leeds Festivals, Bestival, The Great Escape, SXSW and New York Sound City. To top it off, the band even picked up the gong for video of the year at the Artrocker Awards.
Earlier this year the self-proclaimed ‘death-blues’ duo also hosted their own two-day sold-out festival, Detestival, featuring acts hand-picked by the band that included Toy, Bo Ningen, Hookworms, Temples and Wolf People.
The new album was recorded in Sheffield with Ross Orton, who also produced the Arctic Monkeys, and its release will be supported by a full UK tour.
