LITTERbugs in Rotherham are paying the price after four local people appeared in court.
Lynn Wharmsley of North Road, East Dene, was convicted in her absence for dropping a cigarette end in Frederick Street.
She was fined 175 with 180.74 costs and a victim surcharge of 15.00, to be paid within 14 days.
Lisa Machin, of Carlisle Street, Rotherham, pleaded guilty to two littering offences within the town centre.
She was fined 225, with 100 costs and a victim surcharge of 15.
Jodie Worsley, of Howard Road, Bramley, was convicted in her absence of dropping a cigarette end in the town centre and was fined 50, order to pay 80 costs and victim surcharge of 15.
Gary Neill of Bramwell Street, Eastwood, was convicted at an earlier hearing for carrying controlled waste without a licence.
He was fined 525, ordered to pay costs of 424.33 and a victim surcharge of 15.
