COUNTRY-pop star Kelly Clarkson swept into Sheffield Arena in a tornado of Texan charm - and set fans jumping with a stonking setlist of stunning hits spanning her 10-year career so far.

In her southern drawl the all-American girl said the gig was bittersweet as her penultimate date on a world tour which started back in January, and has seen her play more than 50 venues from the USA and Canada to Brazil, Australia and the UK.

It’s been a decade since the 30-year-old from Burleson, Texas, won the first season of TV series American Idol in 2002.

Since then her empowering lyrics, power vocals and incredible range have won her two Grammy awards and produced hits Miss Independent, Breakaway, Since U Been Gone, Behind These Hazel Eyes, Because of You, My Life Would Suck Without You, Mr Know It All, and Stronger - all of which wowed the crowd in Sheffield.
