Inspirational Arlene in city

A CONFERENCE organised to celebrate International Women's Day in Sheffield will welcome choreographer Arlene Phillips as the keynote speaker.

The former Strictly Come Dancing judge will give a presentation at the Copthorne Hotel in Bramall Lane on March 7, when she will also be joined by the founder of the Parents and Abducted Children Together charity Lady Catherine Meyer, rally driver Penny Mallory, and former model Katie Piper who was scarred for life when acid was thrown into her face.

The idea of the event is to share the stories of inspirational women and celebrate the role they play in society.

The event is open to all and has been organised in support of International Women's Day. Visit for more information.
