Up to 200 cyclists are expected to take part in a race in Bradwell later this month.

The Bradwell Hill Billy is a seven hill route and 2,300 metres of ascent.

Organised for the first time in 2014 to raise money for Bradwell Pre-School, the event is known as one of the most challenging in the Cycle Sportive calendar.

It is due to be held on Sunday, June 28, with registration still open for entrants.

Even organiser Laura Mannion said: “The Bradwell Hill Billy is getting so close now and we are expecting up to 200 cyclists to take part this year.

“Everyone who took part in the 2014 event had a fantastic, challenging day’s cycling, so we would hate for anyone to miss out.”
