Enthusiastic youngsters are carrying on their learning in the half-term school holiday with a series of fun events.
Circus skills workshops, dance classes and rock climbing are among the 50 activities taking place across the city organised by Sheffield Children’s University.
The activities will even count towards awards from the Children’s University, a national initiative that encourages children to take part in a wide range of worthwhile out-of-school-hours learning.
More than 27,000 children and young people in Sheffield are already earning points through clubs and extra-curricular activities at their schools and in the community using their Passport to Learning.
Coun Jackie Drayton, cabinet member for children, young people and families at Sheffield Council, said: “It’s a really inspiring initiative and with such a packed programme of activities there’s something to interest all children, whether they like arts and crafts, outdoor activities, sports or learning new skills.
