Girls’ snapshots of a great year

Have your say

A SHEFFIELD school’s history club has buried two time capsules containing a snapshot of life in the city in 2012.

Three pupils at Sheffield High School - Juliet Armstrong, Amelia Winterburn and Nikita Azeem - worked with youngsters in the junior department on the project.

The capsules include letters to the future, videos and personal effects, as well as souvenirs of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the London Olympic and Paralympic Games and even of 25 years of IKEA in the UK.
