Free carvery for diamond pairs

Have your say

THE Crosspool Tavern on Manchester Road and The Moorlands at Owler Bar are marking the Queen’s Jubilee by treating diamond anniversary couples to a free carvery between now and Saturday.

Andrew Skellett, restaurant manager at The Crosspool Tavern, said: “Any 60-year anniversary is quite an achievement and we are confident there are lots of gems in our community who are celebrating a diamond milestone of their own this year – 60 years of marriage.”

Couples who married in 1952 simply need to pop in before Saturday with their wedding certificate, plus current ID, to claim their free meal.
