Fancy dress moors run

MEMBERS of a Sheffield running club donned neckties and moustaches for a fat-busting run around the Peak District.

The Tie and Tache event - the first of its kind for Totley Athletics Club - was organised by Patrick Corrigan and Pauline Straw.

A total of 24 runners donned fancy dress for the nine-mile run on the moors.

The event was handicapped, with the slower runners setting off first and the quicker athletes chasing them down - and the winner was Lizzie Davidson. All those taking part won prizes.
