Family fun at Sheffield shopping centre

Have your say

PETS and face painting are all part of the half-term fun at a Sheffield shopping centre.

Events were due to start at Crystal Peaks shopping centre with a Pets Day today until 4pm, with guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes and lizards, along with pet care talks.

Explore Learning is the theme tomorrow with a range of Horrid Henry events, bookmark making and storyboards. There will also be a giant mental maths Connect 4 challenge and a times tables Twister contest.

There is a free craft workshop on Thursday, from 11am to 3pm, on a Mr and Mrs Potato Head theme, while the East Mall is the location for free face painting on Friday from 11am to 3pm.

Laura Mathewson, centre retail manager, said: “This is a great line-up of activities.”
