Eighties star to perform at club

VETERAN pop star Neville Staple is heading to Barnsley to headline the town’s trades club Christmas party.

Neville, of 1970s and early 1980s group The Specials, will be giving a live performance during the event on December 20, having just finished a UK-wide arena tour.

Support is being provided by two local bands, X-Rippers, a punk band who played the main stage at this years BOMFest, and Cambodia, a local Ska band.
