Eighteen to 22-year-olds are being invited to apply for five free places on next year’s Sheffield Doc/Fest Youth Jury.
Those chosen will be offered unprecedented access to industry insiders at a three day ‘hothouse’ event in London, as well as a full festival pass in June.
Past jurors have gone on to work with broadcasters including the BBC, Channel 4 and ITN, written for national and international film publications, made shorts and feature length documentaries for commissioners including BBC3 and worked with music labels and created music videos.
The jury also decides the winner of the Youth Jury Award to a film that best reflects the interests of a youth audience. The application process is open now until January 9.
