THEY are a crafty lot down Chesterfield way.
And if you visit the David Trickett meeting room at the Chesterfield Canal Trust, on Works Road, Hollingwood, on Sunday, from 11am to 4pm, you can see some of their creations.
And if you are on the crafty side yourself, you can show and sell your own handmade products and creations. Eva Thompson, organiser, said: “We welcome all products and creations including jewellery, needlework, knitting, collage, crochet, tapestry, woodcarving, embroidery, metalwork, pottery, mosaic, puppetry, quilting, sewing, spinning, stained glass, scale model, woodturning, card making, photography, carpet making, painting, candle making, doll making, and lots more.”
Charge for a table is £5 with proceeds going towards the trust’s ongoing campaign to restore the Chesterfield Canal from the River Trent to Chesterfield.
