IT DEALS with hundreds of calls a day to solve Sheffield council tenants’ problems.
Now one of Sheffield Homes’ call centres, in Norfolk Park, is opening its doors so councillors can see the work that goes on.
Sheffield Council’s cabinet member for housing Coun Harry Harpham and his adviser Coun Isobel Bowler are making a visit on Tuesday to find out how calls and customer enquiries are dealt with.
The two councillors will also help to answer some of the nearly 400,000 calls Sheffield Homes receives each year from customers.
Coun Harpham said: “This will be an excellent opportunity to find out a little more about the key questions and concerns of customers, and how these are being dealt with.”
