RECORD collectors flocked to Sheffield looking to pick up a vinyl bargain.
Glossop-based Premier Events held a record fair at The Workstation, Paternoster Row, in the city centre, and had 10 traders there with around 30 tables.
Collectors looking for items as an investment were among those at Saturday’s event, but organiser Bernard McMylor said there were people browsing stalls looking to buy their first vinyl record.
He said: “There is definitely a resurgence in the popularity of vinyl.
“It’s good to come to a student city, because as well as getting professional collectors it is nice to see students discovering the delights of vinyl for the first time.
The next fair in Sheffield is planned for Saturday, November 17, with another scheduled for Doncaster Dome on Sunday, October 7.
