The nation-wide festival of humanities will bring a range of exciting events to Sheffield. A photo exhibition exploring the concept of home will be held at the Central Lending Library and a talk at the Sheffield Cathedral will question what it means to live a good life.

Showroom Cinema, S1 2BX

Get into the festive spirit with this market, which will sell everything from artificial snow to noodles. The Santa’s grotto will be on hand for children and adults alike who’d like to put in a good word.

If the Christmas Market on Fargate wasn’t enough, get your shopping done at the Millennium Gallery this weekend. Vendors will offer original artwork, prints, cards, and various gifts as an alternative to the high street chains.
