Charity's call for helpers

VOLUNTEERS are being sought across South Yorkshire to help a leading cancer charity's main fundraising appeal of the year.

Marie Curie Cancer Care is appealing for people to help them paint the region yellow as part of their Great Daffodil Appeal this Spring.

Collections are taking place across the area throughout February and March.

This year the charity is hoping to raise more than 45,000 from the appeal in South Yorkshire.

This would be enough to provide 2,250 hours of Marie Curie nursing care.

Email or on 0114 279 3010 if you can help.
