It’s a glittering night of fine dining and top entertainment… all in support of St Luke’s Hospice.

The St Luke’s ball will take place at Baldwin’s Omega, Brincliffe Hill, Sheffield, on September 28.

The evening will begin with a red carpet arrival and champagne reception and features a lavish six-course dinner – including a full vegetarian alternative – an auction, a casino provided by Napoleon’s, and live entertainment from Beat Street International band.

At the end of the event, hospice supporters Mercury Taxis will be providing cabs for anyone wanting to continue their evening at Napoleon’s.

“This year’s ball is an extra special event in an extra special year for St Luke’s Hospice,” said the charity’s director of fundraising, Una Moran.

“Work on our new £5 million In-Patient Unit is now heading towards completion, meaning fundraising is even more important than ever.

“But the brand new In-Patient Unit is not the whole story. Every year at St Luke’s we need to raise £4.5 million to keep the whole hospice running – that includes not only our In-Patient Unit but also our therapies and Rehabilitation Centre and every one of the 1,000 patients each year who we care for in their own homes.

“By taking a table at the ball, you can be sure you’ll be making a real difference – every table booked will fund over 24 hours of care for one of our in-patients.”
