Families from South Yorkshire are being invited to apply to take part in new BBC cookery and lifestyle show that will explore the possibilities of making healthy meals on a budget.
BBC One is looking for families to take part in a new three-part series, to be hosted by Masterchef presented Gregg Wallace and award-winning greengrocer Chris Bavin, that will explore if we really can ‘Eat Well For Less’.
A spokeswoman for the show asked: “Is the cost of the weekly family food shop driving you mad?
“Do you worry that cutting back on cost means less tasty, less healthy food for the kids?
“Perhaps you’re desperate to save, but lack the time to spend hours searching for bargains?
“Or you’re under pressure to keep providing the family favourites, despite their rise in price?
“Gregg and Chris are on a mission to prove that, if you shop cleverly, you could save a packet, and still create incredible meals.”
n Families interested in taking part in the filming are invited to email email@example.com, visit the show’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/EatWellForLess, or call 0207 013 4148 for more information.
