A SUPPORT service for people with mental health problems is set to be rolled out to another area of Sheffield later this month.
The Sheffield Pathways and Access to Community Engagement Services project provides advice and support to adults with mental illness and offers anyone feeling lonely or depressed the opportunity to meet with the team.
The service, commissioned by Sheffield Council and run by Sheffield Health and Social Care Foundation Trust, has branches on Pitsmoor Road and Moncrieffe Road, Nether Edge and will now run from The Venue, Manchester Road, Stocksbridge.
Will Mayor, assistant team manager for community development, said: "We work with a wide spectrum of people with mental health support needs, ranging from those who require short term support to manage their mental wellbeing and regain confidence and independence, to those whose needs are more complex and enduring and who need more support to enjoy a better quality of life.
"Anyone who is experiencing mental health issues, or their families or carers, can attend."
The service will be officially launched on January 27 from 1pm to 3pm. For more information call 0114 226 2660.
