Big name for jazz gig return

Have your say

JAZZ into Doncaster is back after the summer break with a ‘spectacular’ special to launch the autumn season.

The gig at Doncaster Conservative Club on Thursday, September 13, features internationally renowned jazz trombonist Roy Williams supported by the double bass player and vocalist Nicola Farnon, with Roy Norton on trumpet and Jon Taylor on reeds.

“The exciting event is fully expected to attract a bumper audience, particularly as Roy is long overdue a visit to Doncaster and he will be joined by such fine accompanists,” said Jazz into Doncaster’s Charlie Worsdale.

Tickets are available from the Blue Building, High Street, for £7, or entry at the door is £8.
