a SPOT the sheep competition has been organised by Jackie Strickland, wife of the Vicar of Bawtry.

Members of St Nicholas Church have been busy knitting 25 small sheep and lambs which are located in windows displays and inside shops around the town forming a Nativity Sheep Trail.

The competition runs until December 22, and to take part residents should make a note of the locations where the woolly sheep are and place completed entry forms in the boxes at Mayflower Primary School, Bawtry Community Library and M.A. Morris Plants and Flowers.

The winner will be announced at the church Nativity Service on Sunday, December 23 at 9.30am.
