Open day for city theatre
THEATRE lovers are invited to sample a taste of life behind the red curtain with an open day at the Crucible this Saturday.
Activities on offer at the free event from 10am to 5pm include a costume parade of outfits from renowned productions, theatre workshops, and even an improvisation marathon for the most daring.
Back stage tours, along with displays about past productions and the venue's future plans, will also take place, and guests will even be able to take a souvenir home with them - by treating themselves at the theatre costume and prop jumble sale.
